key information about discovering, booking, and using the ART—in line with how the platform operates today.
about the platform and art
from the first glance to direct contact.
what is the ART?
the ART is a space that brings together artworks, artists, galleries, architects, and collectors. it helps users discover art, get to know artists, reserve available works, and proceed to direct negotiations.
how to find a piece of art?
start with the gallery, the artist catalog, or the available collections. on the artwork page, you’ll see its description, technical details, price, availability status, and the artist’s profile.
do i need an account to view the artworks?
no. you can view public works and profiles without logging in. an account is required to make a reservation and use features assigned to a specific role.
how do i contact an artist or gallery?
use the contact option available on the artwork’s page or the artist’s public profile. when a reservation is active, the parties receive the information needed to make direct arrangements.
who can join the ART?
the platform accommodates the roles of artists, galleries, architects, and collectors. artists and galleries follow their own profile setup processes; architects and collectors use the ART audience features.
what is a work reservation?
this temporarily makes the artwork unavailable to anyone else. the reservation opens a window of exactly 24 hours for direct contact with the artist to arrange payment, delivery, and other terms.
does a reservation mean a purchase?
no. a reservation is neither a purchase nor a payment. the ART provides a reservation tool, and the terms of the transaction are agreed upon directly between the artist and the person making the reservation.
how long does a reservation last, and can it be extended?
exactly 24 hours. the user cannot extend it. once the period expires, the artwork automatically becomes available again, unless it has previously been marked as sold.
who can reserve a piece?
a logged-in user with the role of collector, architect, or artist, who has a valid and verified email address and has accepted the current reservation terms and conditions. you cannot reserve your own artwork.
what happens after i make a reservation?
the artist and the buyer arrange payment, delivery, and other terms directly. the ART is not a party to this transaction.
